Middle term review “Participlán” Integrating slums to build multicultural cities in Argentina and Bolivia The project goals are: 1) Create linkages between communities and governments and between cities 2) Give a voice to those vulnerable groups unable to participate effectively in urban plans, crucial to ensure that their particular interest is taken into account. 3) Contribute to develop human rights based planning approaches 4) Help local government to develop a city-wide slum upgrading vision During 2014, the following activities were carried out partially with support from the grant received from the World Justice Challenge project In Argentina 1) Application of the “compass” [1] , methodology to carry out participatory information collection and diagnosis oriented to formulate actions plans targeting slum upgrading in Luján [2] , Escobar [3] and Salta [4] 2) “Participlán” [5] present
